Horizontal parts, ramps and ladders for all of our condo tower models are made from pressed wood or plywood. Covers are synthetic fabric, not carpet. Poles are 3-1/2 inch diameter, and wrapped with 100% natural sisal rope which will last at least 2 times longer than the strongest carpet. These structures are lighter weight than those made of all wood, but these models are designed to be well balanced and stable.

Faux fleece is a special covering material made just for cat furniture. It is softer than regular carpet. Your cats will feel more comfortable laying on it.
